Kieni Constituency member of Parliament, Hon Kanini Kega has now left Kenyans surprised after revealing the real reason behind the broken ties between President Uhuru and DP Ruto.

The two had their relationship broken in their second term of service, 2017, from when Kenyans speculated that Uhuru exchanged a handshake with Opposition Leader, Raila Odinga.

However, these speculations are no more as Kanini Kega revealed during an interview with Inooro TV's night show, Kiririmbi on Sunday night.

According to Kanini Kega, the two Jubilee party leaders had crossed ways even before the President met Raila. In his statement , Kanini revealed that before the handshake, Uhuru called a Parliamentary Group Meeting for all members and he secretly told all of them that the next phase of government(2017/2021), they would concentrate with working for Kenyans and in 2021, the President would initiate and lead campaigns for the Deputy President's presidential bid.

In this meeting, Kanini added that this is meeting formed the centre of Uhuruto divorce, after the DP proposed the change of Parliamentary leadership in national assembly.

According to him, the DP wanted one of his allies, who he did not mention, who was in Senate leadership to comedy for the National Assembly position and would then be made the National Assembly speaker, to replace Justine Muturi.

This is a call that President Uhuru Kenyatta denied to accept, among other Proporsals. In his opinion, Kwanini revealed that this was the beginning of Uhuruto divorce.
