Heavy Celebration's In Kiambu County After The MCAs Passed The Building Bridges Initiative. (Photos)

23rd February 2021, Nairobi Kenya.

There are very heavy celebrations that have been witnessed in Kiambu County this evening after the County Assembly of Kiambu passed the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) Bill.

During the debate on the Bill, the Kiambu County residents filled the County Assembly and they were dancing and singing songs of praise to President Uhuru Kenyatta and the BBI as they carry high the banners and posters bearing the BBI hence their fill support.

The lengthy debate was attended by several leaders from the County including the Kiambu County Governor James Nyoro and the Bill was passed through acclamation where the majority voted Ayes (Yes) to the Bill.

The passage by Kiambu County now puts it in the list of counties that are in support of the Bill that is currently having support of 35 counties.
