United Development Alliance UDA Party has taken lead in the recent released of Rurii Ward By elections. UDA candidate Muraya Githaiga has led by 71 percent of the total votes tallied with his close competitor following him with 28 percent of the votes. In the Juja constituency By elections, George Koimbori of People's Empowerment Party PEP has take the lead with 55 percent of the talkies votes.
The two by elections were hel alongside the Bonchari constituency by elections in Kisii county. The by elections has elicited alot of political heat. The positions were left vacant after the death of the political leaders. Every eye has been cast on the Rurii ward By elections which will determine the part positions in the 2022 general elections.
Earlier in the day the by elections in Bonchari constituency and Rurii Ward were locked with drama as several people were arrested for breaking law. A Chief in Bonchari was caught red handed bribing voters raising concern over the integrity of the leaders.
