Wycliffe Oparanya says Western region is fully behind Raila's presidential bid

Presidential seat has attracted several influential leaders in the country. The leaders includes deputy president William Ruto, former prime minister Raila Odinga, ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi and national assembly speaker Justin Muturi.

Today the former prime minister Raila Odinga camped in Kisumu county to popularize his presidential bid in the region. He was accompanied by several ODM leaders led by Kakamega governor Wycliffe Oparanya.

Speaking in a rally at Ahero, Kakamega governor Wycliffe Oparanya said that Western region is fully behind Raila Odinga presidential bid. He said that he will rally the region behind Raila Odinga presidential bid.

The governor further said that the former prime minister has the experience and expertise of reviving the country's economy which has been adversely affected by COVID-19 pandemic. He urged Kisumu residents to fully support the former prime minister and ODM party.

Governor Wycliffe Oparanya is also the ODM deputy party leader. He is serving his last term in office as Kakamega governor.
