The four IEBC commissioners Juliana Cherera, Irene Masit, Francis Wanderi, and Justus Nyang'aya might have just received a huge boost after a bold move that Meru High Court just took in terms of investigating them.
A report from the Standard digital says that the court has certified a petition that seeks to stop the tribunal from investigating Cherera and 4 IEBC commissioners.
The hearing date for the appeal has been set for today, a move that may possibly reverse president William Ruto's decision to create the tribunal.
Here is what the report says: " The High Court certifies an urgent petition to stop the tribunal from investigating Cherera and three IEBC commissioners, which is expected to occur on Wednesday."
Cherera, who has already resigned after a buildup of criticisms from Kenya Kwanza allies and kenyans, is going to be the centre of interest. So, we'll have to wait and see what happens next.
