The Gatundu South member of parliament, was on September 7 ,in an interview in Citizen TV.While responding to a question on why he apologized to Kenyans, Kuria said that, the reason was because, the rising country's debt was a result of him together with the other NASA and Jubilee MPs. Kuria added that, each time of budget reading,as from the year 2014 to 2020,they used to be called to the statehouse and get bribes,so that they can pass the budget as it is without considering the effects.
"What used to happen was every year before we passed the budget we would be called to the state house, both members of NASA and jubilee. We would be given goodies for our constituencies,we would be told to shut and pass everything as is"
This statement has gotten into the ears of netizens differently. With some believing that, him as a leader should be ashamed in the first place.Adding that, receiving bribes to pass something that will hard burden to citizens is quit disheartening.
With some saying that, that revelation alone,is enough to disqualify him from the elected seat.Adding that he has failed on integrity matters, leading to looting of taxpayer's money.
