The United Democratic Alliance party which is being led by President William Bruto has this evening made an announcement on who will contest for different seats in the coming by elections just a few days after some members of parliament resigned to take up senior positions.
Among the seats that announced by the UDA party included that of Bungoma senatorial race which was left vacant after the area senator took up another role as speaker of the National assembly.
In its part UDA now says that the aspirants to fly the seat is none other than Mabonga who has been awarded a certificate to contest for the same position today. This is despite opposition from the ANC party and Ford Kenya party which is the party that wetangula is from .
Other positions that have been announced by the UDA party include Samson Kahui Ngure (Utawala), Samuel Towett (Oloimasani), Gideon Munyithia Macirice (Thaana/Kyome) and Shikolio Yasin Alli (Mumias North).
The elections are have been slated for next month and the ruling party UDA is optimistic that they will carry the day in the by-elections
