In what seems to be a numbers game the deputy president William Ruto has Revealed that close to 100 sitting members of parliament were present in his rally today. This is according to his Facebook post on Wednesday evening after the much publicised meeting that happened in Lee Kinyanjui's County.

The meeting brought together top ranking politicians from UDA and its affiliate partnership who recently welcomed Ruto to their launching that happened in Bomas a few days ago. The number being among the biggest to ever attend a rally in one succession in recent days when Ruto was in the campaign trail.
The leaders who spoke at the venue of the meeting hailed Mudavadi's move to denounce his support for Raila and Uhuru saying that they had for long been held hostage. As for now the new alliance is seen as a formidable force to succeed Uhuru in 2022.
