Latest Opinion Poll Shows Widening Gap Between Kiraitu and Linturi In Meru Governorship Race

The latest opinion poll from Mizani Africa shows that if elections happened today in Meru County, the Meru governor Kiraitu Murungi would be shown dust for he would come at 3rd position with a support of 28.1 percent. Mwangaza would come second with a support of 29.4 percent. UDA would win with a support of 32.3 percent.

Here is a link:

The poll shows that UDA party influence in Meru County is overly solid and they informs of why Linturi is commanding a huge lead against Kiraitu Murungi. It's evident Linturi is pulling a stops in his efforts to ensure he is elected the next governor of Meru County.

This clearly means at the moment, Linturi has a solid support in Meru County that has without a doubt exposed Kiraitu. It's clear, since he joined Azimio coalition, Kiraitu has faced hard times in his efforts for re-election as governor.

The deputy President William Ruto has also staged a heavy onslaught against Kiraitu in efforts to ensure he doesn't become the governor again after he betrayed him. However as always, let's wait and see of what unfolds going into the future for it's clear a day in politics is such a longtime.
