Mama Ngina Kenyatta Remarks After Casting Her Vote, Issues Rallying Advice To Kenyans

Former First Lady Mama Ngina Kenyatta has for the first time spoken after casting her votes at the Mutomo Primary school in her home village Ichwareri in Gatundu South constituency.

Mama Ngina sent Kenya an advisory message moments after she had voted as she urged all Kenyans to vote since it granted them an equal playing ground in determining the next crop of leaders.

In her address to the media, Mama Ngina underscored the importance of the exercise as she maintained that it was through voting that the country was going to be fixed.

She was however coy on her preferred candidate although it is remembered she made her stance known in March when she urged voters to follow her son's lead since he could not mislead them.

"It is important for everyone to understand the importance of voting. When every legitimate voter takes part in the voting process, we vest powers to the right people to lead this country." Mama Ngina said.
