Over time, the Aror-Kimwarer dam scandal have been a subject of discussion in the republic of Kenya. This is a scandal which came to existence after unknown individuals disappeared with around shs 7billions which had been set aside by the government for the construction of two dams in the north rift namely; Aror and Kimwarer Dam. Since then, there have been a war over this where some claimed that Dp Ruto is the main suspect.
Now, some few hours ago, there were some allegations that Dp Ruto has been summoned to testify on this scandal. It all started after a memo circulated in the social media showing that Ruto has been summoned over this scandal.Now, just some few hours after these allegations concerning the summoning of Dp Ruto, the Office Of The Director of Public Prosecution, ODPP has come out to respond over these allegations. As reported by the Tuko News, the ODPP has rejected those allegations saying that they have not released any memo concerning the Kimwarer Dam Scandal.
"The above letter circulating on social media is fake. We wish to state that no such letter has been written in relation to the Arror and Kimwarer case," read the tweet.
