Azimio's Wafula Wamunyinyi And Eseli Simiyu All Lose to Ford Kenya Candidate in Western Kenya

Newly launched Democratic Action Party of Kenya, DAP-K has suffered a huge blow after its leading candidates Wafula Wamunyinyi and Eseli Simiyu all lost their parliamentary seats to Ford Kenya candidates.

According to the results released by the Independent Electoral Boundaries Commission, the vocal lawmakers lost their seats to Moses Wetangulas brigades in Western Kenya.

Wafula Wamunyinyi was able to get 20,240 votes while Ford Kenya candidate in Kanduyi parliamentary seat John Makali garnered 32,099 votes.

On the other hand, Tongeren incumbent Eseli Simiyu of DAP got 9, 802 votes while John Chikati of Ford Kenya got 20,108 votes in the just concluded election.

This raises the number of Azimio la Umoja coalition big names that have lost in the just concluded elections. Wafula Wamunyinyi and Eseli Simiyu all decamped from Moses Wetangula and Musalia Mudavadi coalition immediately after the duo joined the DP Ruto camp.

All attention will now focus on them to see how they will react to the just-released results by the IEBc in various polling stations.
