President-Elect William Ruto has revealed that a big number of legislators elected on independent tickets have joined his Kenya Kwanza camp.
Speaking on Tuesday after meeting hundreds of leaders elected on Kenya Kwanza Alliance tickets at Karen Nairobi, Ruto revealed that so far, 10 Independent MPs have joined their Kenya Kwanza camp.
Ruto took time to introduce the 8 MPs who were already at Karen, adding that two more did not make it to the meeting but had joined their brigade.
Among the MPs who also joined Kenya, Kwanza camp is Fabian Muli, the new Kangundo MP from Machakos county who was elected on the Muungano party
"Today we have a total of 163 MPs from Kenya Kwanza camp here with us. We also have 24 senators in the house, 8 Independent candidates have also joined us today plus the two more who are not here. Fabian Muli MP Kangundo has joined our team," stated Ruto
Ruto went ahead to assure all Kenyans of inclusion in his government, saying nobody will be locked out or any region excluded whether they voted for him or not.
"I expect Public service to serve Kenyans equally, without favoring people because of their political affiliation. There will be no room for exclusion of any part of Kenya, we are going to move together as a nation," he added
