Rigathi's Political Blunder That Could Cost DP Ruto Over 4.5 Million Votes-Kabogo

In his pursuit to have his name written and mentioned alongside Jomo Kenyatta, Daniel Moi, Mwai Kibaki and Uhuru Kenyatta, the self-styled chief hustler is staking on a number of political parameters among them Mt Kenya factor.

With over 5.6 million registered votes, Mt Kenya will statistically determine if William Samoei Ruto will be the next wearer of the coveted presidential crown or not. To have a larger share in the aforenamed vote-rich hub, the man from Sugoi has hitherto made over 34 trips to the region.

Now that the country is 42 days away, Will DP Ruto's incessant visits to Mt Kenya pay out? Oh well, not exactly, that is according to Tujibebe Party head-William Kabogo. Speaking during the Kiambu gubernatorial debate held on Sunday evening by Citizen TV, Kabogo revealed that Ruto's choice of running mate is doing him more harm than good.

In his public outburst, former Kiambu governor faulted United Democratic Alliance (UDA) running mate for frustrating non-UDA members a mistreatment that has since seen him detach self from Kenya Kwanza campaigns.

Kabogo has blamed Rigathi Gachagua for jeopardizing his political course and assuming the latter's political modus operandi will ensue in the next 40 or so days, then Mt Kenya based pro-Ruto stalwarts may cut selves from Samoei's political robes and without grassroot mobilization troupes, Kenya Kwanza head may lose quite a following from the vote-rich hub.
