Nyanza Regional Commander Confirms Widespread Voter Bribery In Bonchari, Says Several Arrested.
The Nyanza regional police commander Karanja Muiruri has confirmed that there is widespread voter bribery in Kisii County, that is in Bonchari Constituency where the By-Elections for Member of Parliament seat is underway.
Karanja Muiruri further added that several suspects have been arrested and that they will all face the law and be charged in court.
He added that also the money meant for voter bribery has been confiscated from those who have been arrested.
Earlier today, there was video captured in Bonchari Constituency where a man was arrested for allegedly giving out money to voters and he even had campaign material's for the jubilee party candidate Zebedeo Opore.
