Unmoved Kingi Breaks Silence On Push To Join UDA Days After Ouster From ODM Leadership Position

Kilifi county governor Amason Jeffah Kingi has responded to calls by Ruto allies from the coastal region to join the United Democratic Alliance party. Kingi who was recently ousted from Orange Democratic Movement party leadership position is determined and is not interested in joining any party which doesn't originate from the region.

Kingi has dismissed such calls and reaffirmed his commitment to unite the People of Coast a move that led to his ouster from the ODM top position, according to a local publication, Kingi has urged the people of the region to support his efforts to avoid being controlled by outsiders every time.
