The Deputy President of Kenya William Ruto has remained to be a top contender in the next presidential elections to be held on August 2022. Some of his other competitors are the ODM party leader Raila Odinga and ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi who has announced that he will be on the ballot.
Despite the heavy political ompetition that DP Ruto and his allies are experiencing, they have still maintained that they will win by great margin as compared to others opponents. There are three main reasons why they have high believes in winning the next elections in their great favor.
First, DP Ruto and his close allies have enjoyed a great support from Kenyans who have since joined his hustler movement that encompasses putting the rights and demands of the small earners at the top. The idea of championing for the better lives of the poor, hustlers and other vulnerable people in society has made DP Ruto to amass more followers. This has undoubtedly made him and his allies to believe that they will win the presidential seat in the 2022 general elections.
Secondly, DP Ruto's UDA party has managed to get a good number of elected and nominated legislators, senate members, MCA's and other women leaders unlike their opponents. This has actually made their side to have great hopes in defeating their close opponents who have also shown their interests in running for presidency.
Lastly, DP Ruto and his allies have been able to acquire support from the vote-rich Mount Kenya region something that has made them rest assured that they will win the next presidential elections. Unlike other competitors, DP Ruto and his camp members have successfully managed to manoervure through the Mount Kenya region gaining a lot of fame especially through the now trending hustler movement that provides for a bottom-up economic strategy.
