Jubilee Secretary General Raphael Tuju has asked Kenyans about the need to embrace peace and unity ahead of the next general elections warning leaders of causing divisions.
According to Tuju, he has said that every Kenyan should be passionate about the unity of this country explaining that should the country approach the general elections when divided, then, it puts the nation in a very difficult position.
"All Kenyans should be passionate about the unity of this country. In a country like ours where we have such diversity, it is very flammable if we do not take care and we will have ourselves to blame," Jubilee Secretary General Raphael Tuju has said.
The Jubilee Secretary-General has said that when leaders engage in tribal politics including ethnicization of political parties, then it becomes a major risk because no community shall be happy if they fail to be considered part of the next government.
"What is creating the ethnicization of all the political parties is because everybody feels that it is only through the party led by their tribe's person that they will have a chance to thrive," Tuju has stated.
Adding that "the biggest fear of Kenyans in this political process is the fear of exclusion; what is going to happen if we are not part of the next government?"
