The aid-de-camp to President William Ruto and the DCI detectives have made a major announcement about fakes pretending to be the president and first lady. That those who pose as President Kibaki and First Lady Rachel Ruto will be arrested has been made clear by Col. Fabian Lengusuranga.
We have the DCI detectives and the president's personal aide on the case. Most Kenyans have obviously been duped by the president and first lady's false identities.
It's abundantly clear that the president's life, as well as the lives of his immediate family, is in danger. The criminals using William Ruto's name to defraud Kenyans are likely in for a rough ride.
Those who pretend to be members of the first family can expect to face legal consequences. Since it has come to the president's attention that Kenyans are being duped by impostors claiming to be him, he has decided to take corrective measures.
