The two leaders are expected to go head to head upto the finish line as they look to take over from President Kenyatta when his term comes to an end in the next few months.
Just recently, Ruto picked Mathira Mp Rigathi Gachagua as his running mate while Raila Opted for Karua as his Principal Assistant. During the announcement, Ruto revealed that he is planning to introduce the Prime Cabinet Secretary position within the first 14 days of his term as the president.
ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi is eying the position according to numerous reports. Jubilee Vice Chairman David Murathe has now blasted Ruto for being hypocritical when he was against the idea of creating extra government positions through the BBI.
According to Murathe, it is very immoral of the Deputy President to introduce the Prime Cabinet Secretary position which is equal to the Prime Minister position that was being proposed in the BBI.
