Former President Uhuru Kenyatta and his successor William Ruto met today in public.This is the first time the duo is seen together publicly after the September 14 inauguration ceremony at Kasarani Stadium.
Uhuru and Ruto are attending the third inter-Congolese Consultations of the Nairobi Peace Process at Safari Park Hotel.

The two national leaders are meeting at the Safari Park Hotel in Nairobi for the top meeting on the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Nairobi III comes after the official visit of Uhuru in his capacity as the Facilitator of the East African Community to Kinshasa and Goma, DRC, for the Mini-Summit on Peace and Security in the Eastern DRC.
The Former Kenyan Head of State president Uhuru Kenyatta is chairing the East Africa Community (EAC)-led Nairobi Process on the restoration of peace and security in the Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
Christened the Third Inter-Congolese dialogue, the high-level meeting involving both sides in the DRC conflict is scheduled to commence on Monday, November 28, in Nairobi.
