Controversial Canada based barrister Dr Miguna Miguna has finally come out clean to explain to Kenyans why all of a sudden he is seen to be having a soft spot for the deputy president William Ruto who in the past he has described as a corrupt thief and a land grabber in the country.
Ironically, it seems he has transferred the hate he had for William Ruto now to ODM leader Raila Odinga who he has consistently abused since 2018, few months after he himself swore in Raila as the people's president at Uhuru park.
However, in his latest tweet Miguna seems to have given an answer to Kenyans who have been questioning him why he seems to support Dr Ruto. The tweet came immediately after the ANC delegates conference at Bomas attended by Ruto and his allies. In the conference Mudavadi pledged to never work with Raila and that he will be working with Ruto.
In the now viral tweet, Miguna says, 'Kenyans, I don't like William Ruto because he is corrupt. But he is honest in his corruption. Ruto has not betrayed his friends. The problem with Raila Odinga is that he is not just corrupt. He is very dishonest and betrays everyone.
Let me make it simple because I realize that a lot of Kenyans cannot comprehend statements like this tweet. Ruto is corrupt but honest and hasn't betrayed his friends. Raila is corrupt, dishonest and a traitor. Miguna is not corrupt, is honest and not a traitor. "
