The country kenya is planning to hold its general election come August 9. Different political parties submitted names of their Aspirants by last week was the deadline.
The country will hold election for president, senator, governor, member of parliament MP women representative and member of county Assembly. The independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission IEBC is planning to meet different aspirants inorder to inform them what is required for them to be cleared by 30 May.
Today evening we have received news from Nyeri county that an aspirant for Rware Ward has dropped from the race. According to the source, Milkah Wambui Mwangi (Wamuthingati) has dropped her bid. Wambui was vying the seat through United Democratic Alliance UDA.

Wambui has not revealed the reason why she as decided to dropped the bid, but she say that she will vie in 2027.
