Azimio la Umoja bandwagon visited the Kasarani Stadium today in what they termed as the "Azimio la Umoja Convention Site Visit". The visit which comes few days before the Big Announcement by ODM leader Raila Odinga attracted different leaders in support of Raila's Azimio la Umoja Campaigns including ODM leadership as well as section of Jubilee party members.
The MP also turned down attempts by Jubilee MP Maina Kamanda who could to allow him respond to the journalists. Instead, he decided to call clergy to pray so that the event could come to an end.
"No, no, wachana nayo ndugu yangu (let the it be)," Junet told a colleague who wanted to respond.
This was after the journalist asked Hon. Maina Kamanda whether the narrative being peddled in Mt Kenya that he is set to be named majority leader is true.
"We have said that this function is international and we know why it is international considering those whom we have inviting. So don't rush before the wedding day, that day you will see the bride and the bride groom and Friday is not too far," Junet told the journalist.
"Wewe enda uliize hiyo huko kwa nyumba Jubilee, hii ya Leo ni Azimio la Umoja (Go ask that in Jubilee House, today is Azimio la Umoja)," the furious Junet added.
He then called for a clergyman to end the event with a pray as other delegates including Migori Women Rep Pamela Odhiambo asked the journalists to wait for another day and they right place to ask such questions.
Hizo zingine tutakuja kwa TV na Radio tuongee (Those others will discuss when we come to Radio and TV station)," another delegate told the journalists as MP Pamela Odhiambo cooled temperatures before prayers.
