Political tension has built up in the country as politicians continue hating each other. This is something that has established a huge gap in the society as politicians create a differences among them. Due to this, one's political failure has always been a source of happiness to the opponents.

This is exactly what is happening following what is said that people have ignored Mudavadi's function to run their businesses. Raila's director of communications, Philip Etale has expressed his happiness for that saying that people have snubbed the function saying it is too small to be called an earthquake.
" Shop owners and other traders have ignored warnings of an earthquake saying “hiyo ni kitu kidogo saaana”. They have opened their shops. Others have gone to Churches. His Earthquakeness, the Tibimness, the Enigma, the ONE & the ONLY @RailaOdinga will worship at KAG Church Mau Narok," said Philip Etale.

This happens as preparation continues for the major function where Mudavadi is going to openly declare his political stand.
