Nyeri Town Member of Parliament, Ngunjiri Wambugu found himself on the receiving end of the netizens while he was on holiday in an undisclosed location after he posted his photo on Facebook. The photo showed him lying on the ground reading a book in a serene looking environment.
The most interesting part of the photo was the fact that he was sunbathing lying on a khanga (shuka) and a pillow, yet he was alleging that he is on holiday or voacation. He also took the chance to report to his fans and followers that his holiday was about to come to a halt, wishing them happy holidays.

His photo and sunbathing style attracted a lot of reactions some of which were hilarious from his followers and fans. Some if the fans criticised him for using a shuka like a woman, while others applauded him for his stylish approach to the festive season holiday.
