Orange democratic party leader, Hounerable Raila Odinga is today in Kiambu County for his Azimio La Umoja drive. According to the video shared online by his Twitter handle, Odinga arrived under tight security accompanied by Kiambu governor Nyoro and other notable leaders. Raila is expected to listen to coffee farmers from the region who have requested his presence today. This visit is coming just a few days after he toured Mount Kenya East region where he recieved a warm welcome by area leaders, save for few incidents where he was heckled by a section of residents.
Speaking during the meeting, farmers representative have requested Odinga to talk to the president so that he can give them one Police car that will help in Manning coffee farms which are now a target by cartels. They have also requested Odinga to work on improving product market which is currently bad forcing some of them to uproot coffee and plant other products.
Odinga is determined to win over Mount Kenya and and he is doing everything to see that happen. He has lately intensified his tours in the region. For the last two weeks, he has camped there selling his Azimio La Umoja drive. Well, let's wait and see how things will play out.
