Although the results of the election have not yet been certified by the independent electoral commission, Hounerable Wangui Ngirici, a candidate for governor of Kirinyaga County, has gathered her supporters in Kirinyaga County to celebrate her victory. According to Ngirici and his associates, God has enabled them to obtain their goals, and they are now nearly prepared to defeat Ann Waiguru and take over the top position in the county.
Waiguru earlier expressed her displeasure on social media over the rigging practices in her nation. She said that a number of ballots were brought into the center through a back door while the votes were being counted, skewing the results in Ngirici's favor.
Deputy President William Ruto and his United Democratic Party allies would suffer if they lost this seat. They visited the region several times prior to the election in an effort to encourage residents to support their candidate. Let's therefore wait and see what happens in the near future.
Here's a photo of Wangui Ngirici dancing with a fan today.
