The Jubilee government numero dos and overly ambition Deputy President William Ruto today took his campaign rally to West Pokot County where he was given an heroic welcome by enthusiastic Kenyans who thronged his rally drumming up support for his presidential bid.
Many Kenyans allied to the Handshake Alliance have been perplexed of Ruto's massive influence in the region as he managed to pull a big crowd in the region. This is despite the area governor John Lanyangapuo thrashed William Ruto's "wheelbarrow politics" shielding his people from supporting Ruto's presidential bid.
The UDA leader Willim Ruto stormed Governor Lonyangapuo's turf and took the chance to champion his Bottom up Economic model to the people of Sigor Constituency in West Pokot County. He was accompanied by several Tangatanga Mps including Lilian Cheptoo (West Pokot), Ndindi Nyoro (Kiharu), Senator Kipchuma Murkomen (Elgeyo Marakwet), Samuel Moroto Kapenguria, Kimani Ichungwah (Kikuyu) and the area Mp Peter Lockkapong.
