Makueni governor Kivutha Kibwana has spoken after his deputy Adelina Mwau joined UDA party.

Through his official Facebook page Kibwana said that the people or Makueni are in Azimio LA Umoja.

"My attention has been drawn to clandestine dealings between Adelina Mwau (deputy governor Makueni County) and United Democratic Alliance. She had even pledged to take with her a huge delegation of our common political friends to UDA, who declined her overtures," he said.

He reiterated that the people of Makueni are in support of the Azimio La Umoja and will not be hoodwinked by people seeking self-aggrandizement.

The Makueni governor has declared his support for the opposition leader Raila Odinga's presidential bid in the fourthcoming general elections.

His post recieved mixed reactions here are some of their comments.

MC ken Mananga wrote "For the first time you've spoken like Mike sonko. I respected you so much sir.But now am questioning if this is your hand writting,"

Ephraim says "Respect people’s choices. If your support is for azimio, don’t drag the people of Makueni with you. We can make sound decisions on our own,"

Githendu says "We respect you bwana governor. But every person has a democratic right to make his/her political decision,"

Top Dollar says "Your voice or the people's voice. You are just a person elected by the people to serve the people but not to talk and make decisions for the people.

Let democracy prevail mweshimiwa coz if you really cared for the common mwananchi you could not have joined Azimio but taken that leap of faith and gone for the presidency as we had hoped and prayed for. You lost me when you took the easy root,"
