Why DP Ruto Might End Up Being the Next 'Raila' of Kenya in the Coming Years

Deputy president William Ruto is one strong politician going by the treatment he has been receiving from the Jubilee government he personally contributed in forming back in 2013.

This follows his bitter fallout with president Uhuru Kenyatta who is his boss after his 2018 handshake with the former prime minister Raila Odinga.

Since then Ruto has been facing attacks, humiliation and intimidations from leaders in the handshake team calling him all sorts of names.

Although all these woes have not scared the dp who is aiming to succeed his boss president Uhuru after the 2022 general elections as he becomes the 5th president of Kenya.

However, from what is happening currently in the political arena it is clear that the system is against Ruto's presidency in 2022 which means he will have to serve as a powerful opposition leader in the next government.

Despite his growing huge support and acceptance by Kenyans all over,Ruto might end up just like ODM party leader Raila Odinga who has served in the opposition for so long untill currently when the system is grooming him for presidency.

In the year 2022,it will be the fifth attempt Raila is vying for presidency having lost all the previous four times.
