The Orange Democratic Movement director of communication, Philip Etale has found himself in a hot soup following the remarks he made about Raila's six thousand shillings promise to the vulnerable families if becomes the president in 2022.

According to Etale, those who will get the money will be eligible will qualify for a loan of upto fifty thousand shillings with a grace period of one year.

He added the loan will be able to help the people especially the small scale traders to significantly boost their businesses without relying on politicians for assistance.

Kenyans disagreed with him with majority telling him that whatever he is trying to tell them is not realistic and just politics to fetch votes for Raila Odinga in 2022.

"At times we need to be realistic before before lying to the public in broad daylight. This could be possible in case our country wasn't in such a debt crisis," Fred Otieno.

Others also mentioned that six thousand every month cannot qualify someone for a loan of upto fifty thousand shillings. Here are other reactions from Kenyans.
