Deputy President William Ruto who toured Machakos in a bid to strengthen his position ahead of 2022 polls, revealed that he is ready to face anyone in the race for the presidential seat. He declared that he is the president of Kenya and he is ready to deliver all his agenda despite the challenges he is facing simply because some people hijacked the government. He declared that they have managed to build roads, railway lines and also several homes have received power but he is focusing on uplifting all the residents to the required level.
He also took his time to show that he is a real hustler when he decided to eat roasted maize which is an unusual thing in life to see a leader taking such action. He also allowed several residents to step on his vehicle so that they can air their grievances and also welcome the deputy president in the region.
