Finally,a clear picture of the Competency Based Curriculum showing how schools will be structured to accommodate learners under the new education system is unveiled.

KCPE and KCSE has been replaced by a combination of both school based and summative assessments. All secondary schools should have junior and senior sections.

Learners transition to secondary schools occurs at grade 6 when they are actually young but are supposed to take another six years on secondary level.
