Former Machakos county senator Johnstone Muthama has reacted to reports by a local publication that president Uhuru Kenyatta is angry with politicians from his region after they ganged up against the Building Bridges Initiative a fruit of the handshake between him and Raila Odinga.
The vocal Ruto ally has blamed the president for the division in his backyard and has accused him of being the main cause of the troubles. He accused him of removing these members of parliament from leadership positions a move that led to the division.
He has accused the president of being hypocritical by lamenting over the problems he caused. The United Democratic Alliance party chairman further alleged that despite everything, Mt. Kenya leaders will come together to vote for the deputy president William Ruto in 2022.
"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you", Luke 6:31. Mr. President openly disregarded this life's golden rule when he engineered the alienation and ultimate removal of William Ruto's allied leaders from the very Government they assisted him to form." He said.
"Nevertheless, the great people from the mountain shall come together overwhelmingly to VOTE William Ruto in next year's polls." He posted on his social media pages.
