Jimmy Wanjigi convoy being stoned in Migori County, has continue to draw a lot of rumours. Some are saying that the attack was staged so that he gain sympathy from Kenyans while some are saying the riot was organized by DP Ruto and his allies.

2022 Presidential aspirant Jimmy Wanjigi had a rough day in Raila Odinga's stronghold region, Migori County. His convoy was stoned by angry mob and this might show he's not wanted in the region. Jimmy Wanjigi had said he will vie for the Presidential seat via ODM ticket where he will have to battle with Raila Odinga first in the party nomination.

Blogger Robert Alai said Ruto is sponsoring Wanjigi to cause search riots and fracas within the ODM party. He alleges that Ruto and Wanjigi are good friends but they are just pretending.
He supported this allegations by saying that Jimmy Wanjigi was a close friend and associate of David Langat who is a true and close friend to Ruto. David Langat and Jimmy Wanjigi were associate in SGR deal. Currently, David Langat is handling Ruto's business in Uganda.
