"Please Come to Busia" Governor Paul Otuoma Tells Ruto While in Siaya, Sends Message to CS Owalo

Busia Governor Paul Otuoma has implored upon President William Ruto to tour his county, just like he did in Homa Bay, Kisumu and Siaya counties during his two-day official visit.

Speaking during the homecoming ceremony of the ICT Cabinet Secretary Eliud Owalo in Asembo, Siaya County on Saturday, Otuoma said that the president has shown that indeed he is out to work with all leaders, and it is upon them to embrace him and work with the national government.

"Your Excellency, welcome to Busia. You said that you will coming to Budalangi so that we can talk about the rice farming and how to increase the farming, we are still waiting for you. If you will not come, I will follow you to Kitale. Come to Busia," he said.

The vocal Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) governor lauded the president for appointing Owalo in to his cabinet, calling upon the CS not to let the president down since he believed in him across the whole Luo Nyanza region

"You have been given an opportunity to serve Kenyans by President Ruto. That is a sacred calling. I hope that you will take that duty diligently, and I do believe in your dedication when you want to do something. Please work for this country, and do not let the president down."
