Nixon korir the mp for Langata today together with the deputy president today hosted the hustlers at Karen. They Interacted with Kibra and Langata residents during a Nairobi County youth and women groups empowerment programme at Karen residence, Nairobi County.
The deputy president said the government should protect and encourage hustles. "We should not inhibit or prevent any Kenyan, especially micro, small and medium-sized traders, from pursuing their businesses."The empowerment was for the groups from Kibra and Langata constituencies.The Dp and Nixon korir distributed sewing machines,washing machines and chairs to them.
"Today we've continued our hustlers empowerment programme focusing on groups from Langata and Kibra constituencies. The equipment and items donated today will help the groups enhance their hustle especially during these difficult covid times."
Nixon korir is a first time mp.He won the seat during the 2017 elections of on a jubilee ticket.He is a close ally of the deputy president.
