President Ruto Delivers Good News To New Police Recruits

President William Ruto presided over the Police Pass-out Parade at the National Police College Kiganjo, Nyeri County on 10th January 2023. 2,881 police constables succeeded and got recruited into the police service.

State House Spokesperson, Executive Office of the President Hussein Mohamed stated that President Ruto has asked Police Inspector General Japhet Koome to give requisite uniform to the new recruits for free.

This comes as good news to new police recruits as Hussein Mohamed informed that none of the new recruits should be required to purchase uniforms.

"President @WilliamsRuto asks Police IG Japhet Koome to ensure all newly recruited police officers are given the requisite uniform and none of them is asked to go and purchase uniform with their own money." Mohamed said on Twitter.

President William Ruto told the police that the construction of a new hospital purposed to care for the police's physical and mental health, is over.

The special police event was also attended by Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki, Nyeri Governor Mutahi Kahiga and other officials.
