On Thursday morning, the Honorable Deputy President William Ruto unveiled their list of candidates for the much-anticipated August general election.
Leaders in the courtyard of Deputy President William Ruto in the Rift Valley are mostly from the Kericho region and have all recently been elected to the United Democratic Alliance Party's primaries.
"The UDA party is proud to present our Kericho County framework in the August 9 national elections. Gubernatorial candidate Dr. Eric Mutai and his colleagues Eng Fred Kirui, Senator Aaron Cheruiyot and Honorable Beatrice Kemei Member of the Women's Advocate." Deputy President William Ruto.
Other leaders on the list are Belgut MP for Parliament, the Honorable Nelson Koech, who is the incumbent and winner in the by-elections.
Hilary Kosgei of the Kipkelion West Constituency, Joseph Cherorot of the Kipkelion East, Benjamin Langat of the Ainamoi Constituency, Justice Kemei of the Soin Sigowet Constituency and Kibet Komingoi who won the UDA nomination for the Bureti region.
