Uhuru Responds To Attacks On Mama Ngina, Tells His Community To Emulate From RiftValley

President Uhuru Kenyatta met the Kikuyu Council of Elders and over 3,000 leaders from the Mt Kenya region Saturday.

Uhuru finally spoke about the recent attack on his mother, the first First Lady of Kenya Mama Ngina Kenyatta. In his speech, he showed notable agitation and disgust to those attacking her.

He posed to the Kikuyu Elders whether they have ever heard the Rift Valley region leaders attack Ruto or his family. The president also decried the lack of morals and prudence as the elections approach noting that he has never seen such before.

"The President asked us to advise our youth and women and tell them the importance of morals and respect to our parents and the elderly. He also asked us whether we have ever seen leaders from the Rift Valley region attack Ruto or his family. He added that that should be a wake-up call," Anthony Chege, a Maragua parliamentary aspirant who attended the meeting in his capacity as an elder told the Sunday Standard.
