Raila Odinga Trails William Ruto in the Latest Opinion Poll Results Conducted by Radio Africa Group

The presidential race is said to be a two horse race between the deputy president Dr William Ruto and Odm leader Raila Odinga ahead of the August polls. Dr Ruto has declared interest in contesting for the top seat on United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party while Raila is set to use Azimio la Umoja Movement.

According to the latest opinion poll conducted by Radio Africa group, deputy president Dr Ruto is leading the presidential bid with 46.1%, Raila comes second with 35.1%, Musalia Mudavadi of Amani National Congress comes third with 2.4% while Kalonzo Musyoka of Wiper party comes a distant fourth with 1.4%.

The latest survey also states that the former prime minister has overtaken the dp Ruto in both Western and Coastal region.

In conclusion, the opinion results come barely with just seven months remaining before the Kenyans decide on who will be their next political leaders after August 9th polls.
