Law Society of Kenya president Eric Their has poured some cold water on the faces of the Azimio La Umoja presidential candidate Raila Odinga, his running mate Martha Karya and their supporters as he revealed why Raila Odinga cannot be declared president elect and deputy president elect respectively.
President Eric Theuri says no one can persuade the court to declare him or her a winner when one has said te election process did not follow the law. "You cannot persuade the court to declare you a winner when you have said the process did not follow the law" he said.
He maintained that even if scrutiny is Deon and its found out that Raila won the leection, he cannot be declared winner since he has alleges the elections were not done according to the constitution.
"Even if scrutiny is done and it's found that you won, since you have already alleged that the election was not conducted in accordance with the law, then the court cannot declare you as the winner," he added.
