Former presidential aspirant Hon. Mwalimu Dida has hinted through his official twitter page slamming Governor Gladys Wanga and the leadership of Homabay county for avoiding host president William Ruto.
According to him Governor Gladys Wanga cannot run Homabay County without the National government.
"Gladys Wanga and the entire Homa Bay leadership are jokers. You do not skip a presidential visit, even if you did not vote for him. Can she run that county without national government? Complete nonsense! I hope that Kidero's petition goes through so that HB gets serious governor". Hon. Mwalimu Dida said.
Governor Gladys Wanga had earlier claimed that she is not available to receive president William Ruto because she is out of Homabay County.
"When it was said that President Ruto would visit Kisumu, Governor Nyong'o stayed around despite having serious international engagements. Finally, DP Rigathi Gachagua visited instead and was welcomed by Prof Nyong'o. Despite political differences, leaders must unite". He added.
