Homabay Town member of Parliament Hon George Peter Kaluma has revealed the costly price DP Ruto will pay for allegedly disrespecting President Uhuru Kenyatta.
President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy Dr William Samoei Ruto fell out after the historic March 2018 handshake between president and opposition leader Raila Odinga.
DP Ruto sensing betrayal embarked on 2022 campaign and on many occasions he differed publicly with his boss leading to bitter fallout.
With the head of state seemingly endorsing Odinga's presidential bid, Kaluma has said DP Ruto will loose his popularity in Mt kenya region.
He said the Mountain will be behind Odinga come 2022 a thing which will automatically send him to the State House.
The ODM lawmaker said this will be the heavy price DP Ruto will pay for being disrespectful deputy to the president.
"Someone tell him the Mt. Kenya region votes have gone with Baba @RailaOdinga. Ruto will pay heavy penalty for disrespecting President Kenyatta @StateHouseKenya and the people of Mt. Kenya. He became so big-headed that he saw no leader from there and declared himself the kingpin!," he tweeted.

Recent opinion polls have indicated that indeed Raila has gained ground in Mt Kenya region after the handshake with Uhuru.
