With 25 days to the general elections, the campaigns have hit top-notch as politicians across the country in search of votes.
In the Cherangany constituency, the battle is between five contenders. A long-term political big wig Joshua Kutuny who was once president Uhuru's advisor has been showing dust by his fellow competitors. According to many African polls, Wesley is leading with 35.6%, Bernard Milimo at 32.2%, Patrick stimulus at 20.1%, Joshua mutiny at 9.6% and John Njuguna comes last with 1.8%. The remaining 0.7% constitute the undecided population.
Kutuny has been a harsh critic of William Ruto having crossed ways with him after losing the 2017 elections. The seat had been clinched by the Boston marathon holder Wesley Korir. The hope of Kituny retaining this seat there only lies on the mandate of the people of the cherangany constituency come August ninth. Just a matter of time before Kenyans know the winner.
