The most awaited event is the Azimio la Umoja final rally in Kasarani that will take place on Friday. There has been a beehive of activities in Kasarani ahead of the day. We are told over 30 Governors are expected to be present with Jubilee party MPs announcing their support for the ODM leader.
Kenyans have elicited mixed reactions after the Embakasi East Member Of Parliament Hon Babu Owino sent Chief Justice Martha Koome a message about Raila Odinga swearing. Babu Owino a die- hard supporter of ODM leader Raila Odinga is known for controversy. He has made certain pronouncements that are bad for the Country
Through his Facebook page, Babu cited that Chief Justice Martha Koome should swear in the Orange Democratic Party Leader Raila Odinga as the 5th president of the Republic of Kenya in advance. Babu added it' s now time for Raila Odinga to be president. This statement has caught the attention of Kenyans who have no full trust in the new CJ.
According to the Embakasi lawmaker time is ripe for the former Premier to become the President. He even claimed that Raila has won the top seat since 2007 but he was being denied by the Deep State. He went ahead to take a swipe at the deputy president William Ruto citing that he will be a resident and not a president.
I' m humbly requesting the Chief Justice of Kenya Martha Koome to swear in Baba in advance as the 5th President of Kenya as we wait for elections next year. It' s time. Baba President Ruto Resident, Babu Cited. The Friday event has already been tagged as the event where the Government will unleash their 2022 Project.
Kenyans however faulted the vocal legislature telling him that he is out of order adding that he should wait for Raila Odinga to follow the right channel. Many Kenyans even those from ODM didn' t agree with this statement and they were quick to rebuke the MP for what they said is spoiling for Baba.
