"I Will Maintain Political Decorum," Isaac Mwaura Breaks Silence After High Court Halted His Removal

Nominated Jubilee Senator Issac Mwaura is over the moon after High Court halted his removal, pending an hearing that has been slated for May 24th.

Through his Twitter account, Mwaura expressed his happiness after Milimani Law Court judge J.K Sergon issued an order of injunction suspending the implementation of the judgement by the Political Parties Tribunal that was issued on May 7th, 2021, until his case is heard and determined.

"There is a GOD in heaven. Those who wait upon HIM, are never put to shame as I have been granted an injunction. I respect all Govt leaders, and I will maintain political decorum at all times. All praises to the almighty GOD."

Senate's speaker Ken Lusaka had earlier on Tuesday declared Mwaura's position vacant, noting that he had received various items as required by the constitution.

Mwaura had suffered a blow after the Political Parties Disputes Tribunal okayed a decision by the Jubilee Party to expel him on claims of disloyalty and his support to another political outfit.

The MP was associated with United Democratic Alliance party which is linked with Deputy President William Ruto.
