Hon Ngunjiri Wambugu, Member of Parliament for Nyeri Town, has reacted to businessman Jimmy Wanjigi's claim that Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga is "Judas Iscariot" and that he betrayed him shortly after entering government via the handshake and is now unable to defend him despite previous assistance.
Wambugu recently responded on Facebook to a comment made by businessman Jimmy Wanjigi shortly after his court release, stating that Raila had betrayed him in the same way that Judas Iscariot betrayed Jesus after being offered some silver pieces. According to the legislator, Wanjigi now believes he is Jesus if he refers to Raila as Judas Iscariot. "Jimmy now believes he is Jesus." As cited by the Standard, Wambugu reacted to the video of the businessman alleging that Raila was Judas Iscariot.
