Cabinet Secretary Transport, Roads and Public Works Honourable Kipchumba Murkomen has now break silence after Elgeyo Marakwet county United Democratic Alliance party primaries results were announced.
Taking to his Twitter account on Sunday morning,the former Senator who also served as the Majority Leader send a special message to the declared winner Honourable William Kisang and other candidates who participated.
According to the powerful CS, all the candidates who participated in the Primaries did well and they should now rally behind the winner so that UDA brings home the seat.
"Congratulations Hon. William Kisang on your nomination as the UDA flag bearer for the upcoming Senatorial by-elections in Elgeyo Marakwet County. Congratulations also to all the other candidates who put up a spirited fight and performed exemplarily,"said Kipchumba Murkomen.
The Transport boss further urged the participants to move forward as one family for the upcoming by-elections.
"Let’s now move forward together as one indivisible family knowing that competition makes us strong together as it prepares us for service in our various capacities and different duty stations,"added the CS.
The sentiments by the CS comes after William Kisang was declared the winner of UDA ticket.
The seat fell vacant after Kipchumba Murkomen was appointed by President William Ruto to serve in the cabinet.
